Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Access the Recipe:

    • Click on the meal you are interested in from the meal selection screen. This will open the detailed recipe page.

  2. Understanding the Recipe Page:

    • Upon opening, you will see a screen similar to the one shown in the attached screenshot below.

Key Sections of the Recipe Page

  1. Nutritional Information:

    • At the top, you will see the total calories (kcal), protein, carbohydrates (carbs), and fat for the recipe.

    • This helps you quickly gauge the nutritional content of the meal.

  2. Ingredients and Preparation:

    • The page is divided into two main tabs: Ingredients and Preparation steps.

  3. Portions Section:

    • This section lists all the ingredients required for the recipe.

    • Each ingredient is detailed with its name, caloric content (kcal), and protein content.

Adjusting Quantities

  1. Total Quantity for the Recipe:

    • Highlighted in yellow in the screenshot, this shows the total quantity of each ingredient required for the entire recipe.

    • For example, if it says "8 tbsp (56g)" next to oatmeal, this is the total amount you need.

  2. Standard Quantity Adjustment:

    • Highlighted in green, this is the base measurement used to adjust the total quantity.

    • Changing the number here will automatically update the total quantity.

    • For instance, changing the number of tablespoons (highlighted in green) will adjust the total amount shown in yellow.

Example Walkthrough

Let's go through an example using the attached screenshot:

  • Cinnamon:

    • Total quantity needed: 1 tsp (3g).

  • Strawberries:

    • Total quantity needed: 100g.

  • Honey:

    • Total quantity needed: 1 tbsp (20g).

  • Oatmeal:

    • Total quantity needed: 8 tbsp (56g) – Highlighted in yellow.

    • Standard quantity: 1 tbsp – Highlighted in green.

  • Greek Yoghurt:

    • Total quantity needed: 300g.

To adjust the quantities:

  • If you want to increase the amount of oatmeal, you change the number in the green box next to oatmeal. If you increase it from 1 tbsp to 2 tbsp, the total quantity (highlighted in yellow) will update accordingly.
